Small drinks, big dreams

The people at Innocent make small drinks, but they have big dreams. They are committed to helping people live better and longer, supporting communities, and protecting the environment. Since 2018, they’ve been proud to be B Corp certified. This means they put people and the planet at the heart of everything they do. Innocent donates 10% of their profits to charity, and they squeeze their fruit in the Blender, their factory that runs largely on renewable energy. Oh, and they like to crack jokes too.

Since Innocent started in 1999, they’ve always made sure to do business the right way. Often, the right way wasn’t the easiest, but it allows them to look back proudly on everything they’ve done, even if some decisions didn’t work out perfectly.

In 2018, Innocent officially confirmed that their way of doing the right thing was indeed the right way, when they became a B Corp. This is a growing group of companies around the world who, like Innocent, believe in responsible business. To become B Corp certified, every part of your business is scrutinized. You must meet the highest social and environmental standards. The application process was tough, but they were thrilled to get certified on their first try.

Being a B Corp is about more than just a fancy certificate. For Innocent, it’s an opportunity to make big strides and show the world that businesses can (and should) operate responsibly and do good things. And now they just hope they don’t mess it up.

The project

Labolutions supplied part of the lab equipment for their laboratory, including a biosafety cabinet, an autoclave, and a custom-made large hotbox climate chamber to properly prepare samples.
